Admissions
According to the regulations of PPGESE/UFSC, applicants eligible for the Master’s program include both Brazilian and international candidates who hold a completed undergraduate degree, or are in the process of completing one, in one of the following areas:
- Electroelectronics (Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics, Control and Automation, Biomedical Engineering, and related fields).
- Computing (Computer Science, Computational Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, and related fields).
- Other undergraduate programs in Engineering or in the Exact and Earth Sciences, provided the candidate meets the following criteria, as evaluated by the Selection Committee:
- 
- demonstrates solid academic performance at the undergraduate level, particularly in subjects related to electroelectronics and/or computing, when applicable;
- has academic or professional experience at the undergraduate level (scientific initiation, final graduation project, internship, etc.) in one of the PPGESE’s research areas of interest, as described on the Program’s website.
 
The Master’s program is tuition-free, and its courses are organized on a quarterly basis.
Admission to the Master’s program is regulated by a public call for applications (edital), which specifies the required documents for application, the process timeline, the evaluation criteria, and the items to be assessed.
