Power Electronics Systems

POWER ELECTRONICS SYSTEMS (SEP)
This line of research is dedicated to the study of systems and subsystems related to electrical energy processing for industrial and vehicular applications. This includes renewable and sustainable energy, electric drives, distributed generation and solutions for industrial applications. In addition, other topics such as hardware implementation are also covered. The main aspect of the “Power Electronics Systems” line of research is the synergy with the topics covered by the “Embedded Systems” line of research. The idea is to provide a strong link between both lines, which will allow the development of more efficient, robust and intelligent electronic systems.
