Advisor's approval
ATTENTION: these guidelines only apply to master's dissertations!
- All master's dissertations must be digitally signed by the Course Coordinator and by the Advisor!
- We suggest using the AssinaUFSC system (if the professor does not yet have a digital certificate, it can be generated in the system itself).
- Once the final version of the student's text has been received, already in PDF/A format, the advisor must digitally sign above their name on the identification sheet of Committee, Advisor and Coordinator.
- After digital signature, the obtained PDF file can no longer be changed! Any subsequent change will require the signature of a new final file.
- Finally, the advisor must attest to the completion of their master's student's work in the PPGESE Digital Secretariat, attaching:
- The final PDF file, digitally signed according to the instructions above;
- Copy of the Defense Minutes.
After this step, the Coordination will digitally sign the file and forward the final file so that the student can make the deposit at BU.
ATTENTION: we earnestly request that advisors follow the procedure above to avoid unnecessary delays in issuing diplomas for their students!
