Area of Concentration

Electronic Systems
This area of concentration is characterized by teaching, research and development of embedded electronic systems, with a multidisciplinary approach, covering topics such as embedded software/hardware design and development, antennas, automation and digital control, renewable energy, electric drives, and power electronics. It encompasses four complementary lines research: Embedded Systems, Power Electronics Systems, Applied Artificial Intelligence and Modeling and Control Systems. This complementarity arises from the collaboration between faculty members and their respective research projects as well as from the interconnection of the technical problems addressed in the four lines of research. Therefore, it is highly relevant and aligned with the many technical-scientific challenges faced by the national industry.
