Mission
The Program’s mission is to train human resources in the field of engineering and electronic systems, fostering the generation and dissemination of scientific and technological knowledge through the development of processes, products, and/or services aimed at improving quality of life and promoting scientific, economic, and social development in a rational and sustainable manner.

Vision
Over the next four years, PPGESE aspires to be recognized as a national reference in scientific and technological development in the areas of embedded systems and power electronic systems, with a focus on producing solutions that address society’s needs.

Objectives
The objective of the Master’s Degree Program in Electronic Systems Engineering (PPGESE) at UFSC, Joinville Campus, is to study, develop, and propose methods, techniques, and tools for the design and construction of electronic systems applied to various fields, such as industrial automation, embedded systems, and process control. The program aims to serve students from diverse engineering and exact sciences backgrounds, as well as professionals seeking complementary postgraduate education.
